The Department of Water and Sanitation will hold the annual National Youth Water and Sanitation Summit in the coming week. The National Youth Water and Sanitation Summit is an intensive awareness and education programme that addresses integrated water resource management , sanitation and careers in the water sector. The summit is aimed at the In School Youth from grade 6 to 12, educators, Out of School Youth and Young Water Professionals.
The summit comprises of workshops, career expo, exhibitions, lectures, national adjudications, educational excursions, teacher training, and awards ceremony.
