The Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Gugile Nkwinti (MP) together with MEC Agriculture Nandi Mayathula Khoza and City of Tshwane Executive Mayor, Cllr. Kgosientso Ramokgopa, cordially invite members of the media to unveiling of the memorial wall for the Kilnerton community in honour of 60 claimants who chose monetary compensation settlement option.
The area was declared a black spot which resulted in the removal of the 60 families. To support this process, the community agreed to donate some of their compensation money in the department towards the construction which was designed by a student from University of Pretoria.
