Tourism hosts International Tourist Guides’ Day celebrations, 15 to 16 Mar

International Tourist Guiding Celebrations – Hoedspruit (Limpopo)

The Department, in collaboration with the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment & Tourism (LEDET) and the Limpopo Tourism Authority (LTA), will host the International Tourist Guides’ Day (ITG) celebrations in Hoedspruit- Limpopo.

Themed ‘Travel, Enjoy and Respect,’ the two-day event will provide a platform for tourist guides to discuss their role in creating an awareness of the valuable contribution of sustainable practices towards tourism development.

Minister Derek Hanekom will deliver the keynote address.
