Tabling of the 2013/2014 Gauteng Provincial Budget

Gauteng Finance MEC Mandla Nkomfe will present the 2013/14 Gauteng Provincial Budget to the Legislature on 5 March 2013. 

The budget will provide a detailed breakdown of how the Gauteng Provincial Government will use available resources to fund key priorities in the next financial year. Central to the budget will be investments channelled towards stimulating economic growth and job creation, infrastructure development and maintenance, and the promotion of fiscal discipline.

Journalists will be given early access to documents in a Media Lock-up Session under strict surveillance in order to facilitate a thorough coverage of the Budget.

Venue: Gauteng Legislature, Corner Harrison & Market streets
Time: 08:00 – 10:00 (Media Lock-up Session and Press Briefing)
10:00 - 12:00 (Presentation of the Budget)
