Student Financial Aid Scheme takes 2020 Applications Roadshow to Western Cape, 26 Oct

From a total of 239 955 applications received to date, only 9 276 applications have been received from the Western Cape. Western and Northern Cape are on the bottom two of the lowest received applications to date.

NSFAS is quite concerned with these statistics and will be redoubling its efforts in these provinces to ensure that qualifying student get an opportunity to apply for 2020 funding. 

Officiated by the NSFAS Administrator Dr Randall Carolissen, the NSFAS 2020 application roadshow will be in Scottsdene High School, Kraaifontein on Saturday 26 October 2019. This roadshow will assist Grade 9 to 12 learners and out of school youth from Kraaifontein and surrounding areas who wish to further their studies in 2020 at any public university or TVET college in South Africa to apply for funding before the closing date. 

Ten schools from the surrounding areas have been invited to convene at Scottsdene High School from 09:00 till 14:00, where NSFAS agents will be assisting with the online applications.
