Special needs beneficiaries to receive houses in Boys Town Housing Project, Nyanga, Cape Town

Western Cape Human Settlements Minister Bonginkosi Madikizela will hand over two houses to special needs beneficiaries at 14h00 on 10 April 2013 at the Boys Town Housing Project, Nyanga, Cape Town.

The beneficiaries are both wheelchair bound, and are 57 year old Mr Methetho Charles Xhosa and 33 year old Ms Yoliswa Matyityi . There are eight approved disabled beneficiaries in the Boys Town project to date and the two above names were taken from the Boys Town approved allocations list. The remaining disabled beneficiaries will receive units in Phases 2 and 3, which will be constructed in accordance with their needs.

The R251 million Boys Town project will deliver 1 392 houses when complete, with phase 1 of  559 units nearing completion.

Location: Boys Town Housing Project, Nyanga, Cape Town.
Directions : From Cape Town, take the N2 towards Somerset West. Take the Borchards Quarry/Nyanga exit. Turn right at the off ramp traffic lights, onto Borchards Quarry Road. Go under the highway, then turn left at the traffic lights onto Klipfontein Road. Klipfontein becomes New Eislebben Road. At the next traffic light, turn left into Klipfontein Road Extension. The site will be half a km down on the left hand side.
