Special Investigating Unit's stakeholder engagement forum in the Western Cape
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) will host a consultative stakeholder engagement forum in Cape Town, Western Cape Province on 29 May 2018, in partnership with the Office of the Premier of Western Cape.
The theme of the forum is “Working together towards ridding society of society of corruption, malpractice and maladministration.” The forum is aimed at enhancing the SIU’s partnership with various stakeholders and improving communication through dialogue.
The Premier of Western Cape, Honourable Helen Zille is scheduled to give the key note address at 10:30 am, followed by the Head of the Special Investigating Unit, Advocate Mothibi, who will speak on the legislative mandate of the SIU. The former public protector advocate Thuli Madonsela will also be in attendance and is also scheduled to speak.
