Speaker of Legislature to Host Women in Dialogue in Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality

On Monday, 11 August 2014, the Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature will host a Women in Dialogue session at Ramotshere Moiloa Municipal Hall at 16h00.

The theme of the dialogue is “The Role of Women in Moving South Africa Forward”, and will be discussed under the following topic: “Women Defeating Poverty, Unemployment and Inequality in Moving South Africa Forward.”

The Legislature recognises the fearless women who marched on 9 August 1956 as proof, beyond reasonable doubt, that women are paragons of human perfection – a bastion against structural and social discrimination that ensured South Africa the democracy and freedom we are enjoying today.

The event will be attended by women in business, home based-care centres, tertiary institutions, South African Police Services and different representatives from the Department of Social Development.

Members of the media are invited to attend.
