South African Reserve Bank Governor, Ms Gill Marcus will be awarded with an honorary doctorate degree in commerce from the University of Stellenbosch.
The University is honouring Ms Marcus for her role as business leader and central bank governor.
The ceremony will take place on Friday, 14 December.
