It is that time of the year when the Department of Social Development gets older persons from around the country to show their skills in different sporting activities during the annual national Golden Games.
This year, the Golden Games will be hosted by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development under the theme: “Older Persons Moving South Africa Forward.”
The Golden Games encourage senior citizens to be active and promote longer life for the aged. The senior citizens will participate in different sporting activities like soccer, athletics and a fun walk.
