The ravaging unemployment and poverty in Matjhabeng will be dealt with on Tuesday when MEC Mosebenzi Zwane; responsible for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs in the Free State rolls out his Service Delivery Programme "Jwale ke Nako ya Kotulo" at Bronville in Welkom.
The coloured community of Bronville, recently made a passionate representation and call for help to MEC Zwane to help them tackle rampant poverty caused by large scale lack of skills among particularly young people in Bronville.
This job creation programme targets small businesses to enhance your profitability and sustenance. Applications cover catering, cleaning services, construction, welding, carwashes, panel beating, tuck shops, confectionaries and many others.
Businesses that have had assistance are already showing signs of recovery. Focus will henceforth be on training and re-skilling of unemployed people who have been left jobless due to large scale closure of mines.
