On Tuesday 23 April 2013, Chief of the SA Navy, Vice Admiral Johannes Mudimu, will be handing over musical instruments to the Northridge Primary School at Wonderboom, in Pretoria North at 12h30.
The function will also include the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SA Navy and Northridge Primary School. The memorandum will include amongst others music tutoring and cooperation with financial assistance.
The SA Navy has ventured on this initiative in order to develop the school’s band to reach a professional standard as part of its social responsibility programme.
The instruments that will be donated ranges from Marumba, Guitars, Saxophones, Violins, Piano to Drums. Media is cordially invited to send a journalist and /or a cameraperson/photographer to cover the event.
