SA Agulhas II departure to Marion Island

The Department of Environmental Affairs invites you to the departure of the SA Agulhas II, on its maiden voyage to Marion Island, this Wednesday, 10 April 2013.

This is the first SA Agulhas II annual relief voyage to Marion Island. Oceans and Coasts Deputy Director General, Dr Monde Mayekisowill deliver the keynote address. We will be bidding farewell to the following members of the Marion 70 Expedition Teamwho will be partaking in the voyage:

The SA Agulhas II is scheduled to return to Cape Town from its expedition on Thursday, 16 May 2013.
