Rural Development and Land Reform Minister Gugile Nkwinti to visit three recapitalized projects in Free State

The Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Mr Gugile Nkwinti cordially invites members of the media to the three year mid-term review of the Recapitalization and Development Program (RADP) on the 21st September 2013 at President Hotel, Bloemfontein in Free State.

The purpose of the three year mid-term review is to assess progress made to date and share experiences and lessons learnt and highlight challenges experienced as identified during the consultative workshops by the department. The department will do this with its partners i.e. lessees and farmers, organized agriculture, commodity groups and strategic partners.

The Minister will visit three (3) Recapitalized Projects (Cecilia Farm, Swartkoppies and Milieaspruit). Journalists will be afforded an opportunity to engage the Minister and other stakeholders on progress made the Recapitalization and Development Program (RADP). 

The department is proud of its achievements and milestones it has achieved in the past three years through the Recapitalization and Development Programme in terms of establishing value chain opportunities in the meat industry, creating a class of black commercial farmers.
