The Department of Transport in collaboration with the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) invites all media to the launch of the United Nations Global Road Safety Week under the theme “The Long Short Walk”.
The event will start with a Road Safety “Pedestrian” Walk lead by the Minister of Transport and the ACEO of the RTMC, starting from the Baragwanath Hospital Bridge ending at the Nike Sports Centre in Soweto where the official launch will be held.
