Roll out of Micro Enterprise Support programme

Since the launch of the Micro Enterprise Support Programme (MESP) in Warden on 2 August 2013 more than 200 businesses have benefited from this exciting programme throughout the Free State province.

Beneficiaries range from bakery, car wash, chesanyama, pop-corn, mobile tuck-shop, a panel beater, a recycling project and water purification businesses. On the 14 April 2014, it will be the 10 of business in Mafube municipality.

MEC for Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Mosebenzi Zwane and Mayor of Mafube Municipality, Mr. Jabulani Sigasa will give out equipment at Namahadi Stadium.

The aim of this programme is to support micro-enterprises in the Free State province, to promote entrepreneurship, to fund, grow and develop micro-enterprise, to increase access to resources and capital for the Free Staters, especially youth, women and disabled people.
