The Statistician General, Mr Pali Lehohla will release the results of the Survey of Employers and the Self-Employed (SESE) that was conducted by Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) in the third quarter of 2013.
SESE is a household survey aimed at estimating the contribution of businesses that are not registered for VAT to the economy.
The report provides comparisons between the four SESE surveys that were conducted by Stats SA to date (2001, 2005, 2009 and 2013).
