The Department of Transport, Safety and Liaison is calling on the youth of Frances Baard district to join the alcohol and drug abuse and recruitment drive campaign tomorrow at A.R Abass stadium at 12h00.
The department is targeting 1 000 youths within the Frances Baard region. The focus will be on school going youth (with Grade 12 Mathematics & Science) and other subjects offered in Grade 12 and also unemployed out of school youths who passed their Grade 12.
The regional mobilisation programme will also target non-school-going youths (across all ages even if they do not possess a Matric certificate) suffering from substance abuse and general members of the community.
Registration will be done at the A.R. Abass Stadium. Departments such as the South African Navy, Defense Force, SAPS and Correctional Service will be present at the drive. Your presence will be highly appreciated.
