The department of Public Works cordially invites you to the Disability and Construction empowerment session to empower persons with disabilities in an effort to ensure that they effectively participate in the construction industry. The session forms part of the National Disability Rights Awareness Month where the Department will demonstrate its commitment towards Disability issues by hosting a three day empowerment session from 28 November 2017 to 30 November 2017.
The Department aims to also provide expert advice in Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes and Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) opportunities within the emerging national contractor development programme aimed at empowering persons with disabilities.
