Public Service and Administration hosts Service Delivery Improvement Indaba, 30 Sept

Newly appointed Minister for Public Service and Administration, Adv Ngoako Ramatlhodi, will host and address the Service Delivery Improvement Indaba on Wednesday, 30 September 2015 in the North West.

The Indaba is a platform for public servants to share and engage on matters of service delivery. It brings to a close Public Service Month (PSM) which is celebrated annually during the month of September. Public Service Month highlights government services, celebrating the commitment, dedication and, excellence of public servants who go the extra mile in the delivery of public services.

The 2015 Public Service Month was hosted under the theme, “Moving South Africa Forward: Taking the public service to the people”.

The month was filled with activities that included, taking public services to the people, the deployment of senior managers to frontline services and the Thusong Centres.

Public Service Month is an integral part of the Batho Pele Revitalisation strategy which seeks to instill and rebuild good ethics, morale and pride in public servants.
