Public Service and Administration holds stakeholders briefing on Presidential Remuneration Review Commission, 20 May

The Presidential Remuneration Review Commission (the Commission) has, by means of notices published in the print media during the week of 4-10 May 2015, called on all Organised Stakeholders and Employer Representatives in the Public Service and Public Entities as listed in Parts A and C of Schedule 3 of the Public Finance Management Act 1999 to attend briefing sessions as part of its mandate to inquire into the remuneration and conditions of service of employees in the public service and other matters.

In this regard, the Commission will hold two briefing sessions on Wednesday, 20 May 2015 at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Sunnyside, Pretoria which will be addressed by the Commission Chairperson, retired Chief Justice Sandile Ngcobo.

The purpose of these briefing sessions is to outline the processes that will be followed by the Commission in conducting its inquiry.

The morning session, to be held between 10h00 and 12h00 is for all organised stakeholders and employer representatives involved in all sectors in the public service at national and provincial spheres of governments other than the educators.

The afternoon session which will take place between 13h00 and 15h30 is for all stakeholders involved in the Public Entities listed in Parts A and C of Schedule 3 to the Public Finance Management Act 1999.
