Public Protector Adv Thuli Madonsela will on Wednesday, 10 April 2013, address the Institute of Municipal Finance Officers (IMFO) Audit and Risk Indaba in Cape Town. The Public Protector’s address will focus on good governance and accountability in the public sector, with specific reference to compliance, adherence to internal controls, value for money, integrity and ethics of municipal officials.
The event will be attended by councillors, managers, fraud examiners, chief risk officers, auditors from the public and private sector.
