Public Enterprises Minister, Malusi Gigaba will host Limpopo business, women in telecommunications and construction and youth sectors to discuss the capex infrastructural development projects undertaken by State Owned Companies (SOC) in the province.
Minister Gigaba, who will be accompanied by CEOs of SOC reporting to the Department of Public Enterprises and other senior officials from the department, will lead a formal business session to inform and highlight business opportunities available to SMMEs and the public from SOC to drive economic growth and investment in the province. There will also be mathematics and science career exhibition running throughout Friday for Grades 11s and 12s.
On the day, a telematics system will be launched officially. The telematics is an ICT system that will use top teachers to present extra lessons to schools surrounding Seshego. Telematics will be used to enhance teaching and learning, present teachers and learners with the immediacy of text, audio and video as well as interactivity and collaborative sharing.
The Public Enterprises Deputy Minister, Bulelani Magwanishe, will chair the Basadi—Women in telecommunications and construction.
