The Presidential Climate Commission (PCC) in collaboration with South African Youth Economic Council (SAYEC), will host 2nd Annual Energy Summit on Youth and Just Transition Opportunities in Johannesburg.
The Energy Summit seeks to not only commemorates the historical struggles of women in South Africa to attain political freedoms and equality but also pragmatically address contemporary struggles faced by young people in their struggle for economic justice, progress, and equity in South Africa. It will bring together critical stakeholders, government, business, academics, and youth activists to discuss opportunities that exist for young people as South Africa transitions to a low-carbon economy
