President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 12 February 2013, visit the Tshwane South Further Education and Training (FET) College in Mapobane, Pretoria.
The visit forms part the State of the Nation Address or SoNA community and stakeholder outreach programme in the Presidency, designed to hear the views of the public on a number of issues.
President Zuma met with FET college principals last year, and now wishes to obtain a first-hand experience of how FET colleges operate, given the emphasis government is giving to the development of technical skills that are needed by the economy. The President also values the contribution of FETs to youth empowerment and development.
