President Jacob Zuma will on Tuesday 06 October 2015, meet with the Vice-Chancellors of higher education institutions in the country to discuss the situation in several campuses at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
The University Council Chairpersons Forum-South Africa and the Universities South Africa have requested to see the President to discuss the heightened tensions in some campuses.
The meeting will take place as follows:
