President Zuma to hand over houses to destitute families in KwaZulu-Natal

President Jacob Zuma in his capacity as the head of Jacob G  Zuma Foundation will hand over housing units to destitute families in the uThungulu District of KwaZulu-Natal over the coming weekend. The houses are financed by the Jacob G Zuma  Foundation which oversees a range of charitable activities directed at the needy individuals and communities.

“There is no better way to uplift a destitute family and give its members a sense of belonging in their community than by providing them with a place of their own they can call a home,” said President Zuma.

In addition to the provision of houses, the Jacob Zuma Foundation has been handing out bursaries to deserving students from the rural areas, most recently to pursue a study programme in Nigeria and many other universities in South Africa.
