President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 6 December 2012, award medals to the Military Veterans of former Umkhonto we Sizwe at the 3rd Military Veterans Medals Parade in Pretoria.
The medals will honour those members who served in various capacities, some of whom paid the ultimate supreme sacrifice for the attainment of democracy and creating a free South Africa.
The event, conducted in the form of a medal parade, will honour the last contingent of members the Luthuli Detachment from the former military wing Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK).
