President Jacob Zuma will on Saturday, 21 November 2015 attend the annual Peace Africa Awards ceremony of the African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD).
According to the organisers, this year's award ceremony is a celebration of the African Union Commission and its commitment to peace, security and development on the continent. The theme for the Award ceremony is the number 7, drawn from the seven aspirations in Agenda 2063, with a focus on the youth and women of Africa.
ACCORD will hand over this year's Peace Africa Award to the AU for its active role in leading a process to bring freedom and peace in Africa for over fifty years.
The awards began in 1993.
