60th anniversary celebration of the Freedom Charter takes place in Ganyesa
The 60th anniversary of the Freedom Charter that laid the firm foundation for the present-day democratic and non-racial South Africa will be celebrated in Ganyesa, Kagisano Molopo Local Municipality tomorrow, Friday 26 June 2015.
Bokone Bophirima Premier Supra Obakeng Ramoeletsi Mahumapelo will deliver a key note address, highlighting the significance of the Charter.

It was adopted by South African Congress Alliance, which consisted of the African National Congress and its allies the South African Indian Congress, the South African Congress of Democrats, and the Coloured People's Congress.
