Premier Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane assesses state of readiness at Mphanama Secondary School in Middelburg, 17 Jan

It is all systems go for the re-opening of schools in Mpumalanga, on Wednesday. The Premier, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane will visit the Mphanama Primary School in Middelburg, Steve Tshwete Local Municipality, to assess the state of readiness for the 2024 academic year.

A high powered delegation of Members of the Executive Council (MECs, Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs), represantatives of the National Assembly and Executive Mayors will also embark on the back to school programme across the province to promote the culture of teaching and learning.

At the Mphanama Secondary school, Mtshweni-Tsipane will engage the School Governing Body (SGB), the management and learners. She will be accompanied by senior government officials.
