The Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature shall conduct the second session of the fifth Legislature of the Eastern Cape for the Premier of the province, Mr Phumulo Masualle, to present the State of the Province Address. During this session, the Premier is expected to unveil the programme of action for the year ahead, highlight provincial government challenges and achievements as well as priority projects for the coming year.
This annual sitting of the House, chaired by the Speaker of the Legislature, Ms Noxolo Kiviet (MPL), shall be held on Friday, 20 February 2015, 9h00 at the Legislature precincts in Bhisho.
Members of the public are invited to participate in the ceremony as invited guests by visiting Public Viewing Areas in various districts of the province for a live broadcast of proceedings.
