Gauteng Members of the Executive Council to lead the 2024 academic year school reopening activities
The Gauteng Provincial Government, led by Premier Panyaza Lesufi, will on Wednesday, 17 January 2024, lead the school reopening programme to mark the start of the 2024 academic year.
Premier Lesufi together with Education MEC Matome Chiloane and Infractructure Development MEC Lebohang Maile, will activate the Back-to-School campaign at Kgatoentle Secondary School in Ga- Rankuwa.
Members of the Executive Council (MECs) will participate in oversight visits across the province to monitor as well as guage the preparedness and readiness of schools and Early Childhood Development Centres (ECDs), on the first day of teaching and learning.
