In preparation for the upcoming fifth BRICS Summit taking place towards the end of March in Durban, the Gauteng Provincial Government is hosting a BRICS Roadshow.
Premier Nomvula Mokonyane together with Minister of Science and Technology, Derek Hanekom will address the roadshow which aims to raise awareness around the importance of South Africa's membership of the BRICS and the benefits thereof.
BRICS is an acronym for the powerful grouping of the world's leading emerging economies, namely Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The BRICS system aims to achieve peace, security and development cooperation.
