Eastern Cape Premier will tomorrow, 3 May 2013 visit the community of Adelaide to conduct an outreach campaign aimed at addressing issues raised by the community in her previous visit to the area in January this year. Among the issues that were raised by the community is the challenge of water, support and capacitation to grow their co-operatives and access to funding. The community also raised the issue of availability of land for them to do farming and the need to provide skills to young people.
Premier is expected to respond to these issues and also handover equipment to the Vukani Pre-School. Her office is in the process of buying science kits for two schools in the area to improve maths and science outcomes in some of the previously disadvantaged schools in the area.
