Premier Mokgoro to address the Annual SAPS Provincial Service Excellence Awards

Premier of the North West Province, Prof Tebogo Job Mokgoro will on Friday, 16 November, address the South African Police Service (SAPS) 8th Annual Provincial Service Excellence Awards ceremony which will be held at Rustenburg Civic Centre. Premier Mokgoro will be joined by the NW Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane and MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Dr Mpho Motlhabane in awarding the SAPS employees in different categories including the woman and sportsman of the year.

The purpose of the Service Excellence Awards is amongst others to support and give effect to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the South African Police Service. It also provides managers with a mechanism to facilitate an overall improvement of employee morale, to institutionalise a culture of positive behaviour and to recognise innovation in delivering services to the North West community. The awards will be in acknowledgement  of excellent performance during the financial year 2017/2018.
