Tomorrow, 4 July 2014, Premier Helen Zille in collaboration with the Organ Donation Foundation, will participate in the launch of the Organ Donor Drive in the Western Cape.
The launch will highlight the need of many children who often die because a life-saving organ was not made available in time.
The Organ Donor Foundation will be encouraging any members of the public to become a registered organ donor. Anyone can become a "Friend of the organ donor foundation".
Premier Zille will also be outlining the different methods that members of the public can use to assist in creating organ donor awareness in order to save the lives of children in our community.
There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.
