Premier Helen Zille and MEC Debbie Schäfer ‘take flight’ in Tommi, the aeroplane simulator at Safe Schools Holiday Programme

Premier Helen Zille and MEC Debbie Schäfer will visit the Safe Schools Holiday Programme at the Cape Academy for Maths, Science and Technology. 

The programme at the Academy is designed for learners in grades 10 and 11 and covers exciting topics such as Robotics, Aviation and an Introduction to Pilot training.

On Tuesday 7th July 2015, Premier Helen Zille and MEC Debbie Schäfer will be ‘taking flight’ in Tommi, an aeroplane simulator.

The aeroplane simulator features an advanced flight simulator with movable control surfaces, creating a realistic flight experience for learners and visitors to the laboratory. 

All media are invited and welcome to attend. There will be opportunities for photographs and interviews.
