EXCO Imbizo programme continues unabatedly
The Executive Council (EXCO) Imbizo programme continues as Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha and Members of the Executive Council (MECs) will embark on an imbizo following its resumption last month. Premier and MECs ought to revisit the same areas that were previously visited as pronounced by the EXCO Lekgotla to assess the progress, and give feedback to the communities as regards the commitments made.
The EXCO Imbizo programme held on 25 February 2011 at Ramokgopa village yielded important results that benefited the residents. These are some resolved matters which cleared the backlog following the issues raised:
- Steel water tank has been installed to supply water at Ga-Joel and Ramoroka
- Internal access roads have been graded
- The establishment and opening of an Further Education and Training (FET) College at Ramokgopa
- The newly erected Mohodi clinic is now serving the surrounding villages
- Adequate medicine in Botlokwa hospital
- Nine mobile classrooms have been provided at Sefoloko High School.

The EXCO Imbizo Programme complements the Public Service Month (PSM). September is about the improvement of service delivery to benefit all the citizens, and take service delivery to higher productivity.
