On Monday,14 October 2019, Western Cape Premier Alan Winde will visit the Red Cross Children's Hospital, where he will be given a tour of the oncology unit.
During the visit, Premier Winde will also be handing over books collected during the Western Cape Government's book drive. Thousands of children's books were donated by members of the public and businesses, like NB Publishers, during the drive, which are now being distributed to schools, libraries and facilities across the province.
Premier Winde will also be reading to children during the visit.
