Premier Alan Winde chairs Premier Council on Skills at University of the Western Cape, 1 Mar

Premier’s Council on Skills showcases skills development in innovation & technology

On Friday, 1 March 2024, Premier Alan Winde will chair his Premier Council on Skills (PCS) at the University of the Western Cape’s Innovation Hub - the first public augmented and virtual reality training centre of its kind in the province.

The PCS – the first for 2024 - will look at the Priority Focus Area of technology and innovation, that forms part of the Western Cape Government’s Growth for Jobs (G4J) Strategy.

“The PCS will bring together key stakeholders working in the rapidly growing innovation and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors who can help us explore ways to further our priorities of growing the province’s economy and creating more jobs,” said Premier Alan Winde.
