Announcement of another Western Cape town taking steps to reduce power cuts
Premier Alan Winde will tomorrow, 30 November 2023, host a media briefing in which he will announce that another town in the Western Cape is taking tangible measures to reduce power cuts, further mitigate the impact of load shedding on residents, businesses, and critical services and ultimately become load shedding free.
The Western Cape Government (WCG) is investing heavily in assisting municipalities to become less reliant on Eskom and to pivot to other energy sources to become more energy secure.
