Premier to help open fire station in Robertson
Premier Alan Winde, will tomorrow, 7 February, help facilitate the opening of Robertson’s very own fire station.
The Langeberg municipality has been operating a satellite fire station based in Ashton that served all five towns and neighbouring farms in the district.
Amid one of the busiest summer fire seasons on record, the Western Cape’s firefighters have proven their mettle in working round the clock to protect lives and properties. This new firefighting facility will be an invaluable addition to the province’s disaster management capabilities.
