Premier Winde & MEC Allen to unpack Court Watching Brief Unit findings

On Tuesday, 10 October 2023, Premier Alan Winde and provincial MEC of Police Oversight and Community Safety, Reagen Allen, will unpack the first quarter of 2023’s Court Watching Brief data.

The Court Watching Brief Unit enhances the provincial Department’s oversight function by monitoring court proceedings to identify inefficiencies. By monitoring our courts closely, the Unit aims to find solutions to challenges facing courts.
