Basic Education Committee visits rural schools in Eastern Cape

The Portfolio Committee on Basic Education will, from 28 to 31 January visit rural districts of Qumbu and Sterkspruit in the Eastern Cape. The Committee’s Chairperson Ms Hope Malgas said the purpose of the oversight visit was to monitor the state of readiness for this year’s academic calendar.
