Gauteng MEC for Infrastructure Development, Ms Nandi Mayathula-Khoza will announce details of the demolishing of the Old Natalspruit Hospital.
The 3 storey building was built on the dolomitic site and must now make way for alternative use for the land where it stands. The hospital was yesterday (Thursday) officially replaced by a R1,7 billion 4 story state of the art hospital in Vosloorus.
The MEC will also announce how the Infrastructure department aims to curb projects overrun which result in delays on project completion and cost escalation with a live Project Monitoring Dashboard. The technology will provide day-to-day update on all projects covering all aspects of each project of the Gauteng Infrastructure Department.
