The North West Provincial Legislature will be holding the O re bone, re go bone – Taking Parliament to the people at the Greater Taung Local Municipality from the 20 to 23 November 2012.
The “O re bone, re go bone” is programme that was pronounced by the Speaker, Hon. Supra Mahumapelo, during his 2012/13 Budget Speech.
The programme is aimed at making the Legislature more visible and reachable to the communities, and also to make sure that voices of the people of the province are incorporated in the Legislature Oversight work. The Members of the Legislature will interact with Ward Committees, Councillors and Organised structures and members of the public following this programme:
