The Northern Cape Department Transport, Safety and Liaison will tomorrow host a Domestic Violence Act Women Empowerment programme on the backdrop of Women’s Month in De Aar. The programme will amongst other purposes aim to educate women on how to report cases, be informed on how to identify domestic violence and protect themselves.
Thirty domestic violence victims will be part of the programme and will include various stakeholders. All participants will be encouraged to share the information and also open doors of communication regarding domestic violence.
