NWest EXCO Lekgotla to reflect on fifth Administration performance
The North West Provincial Government will hold its two-day EXCO Lekgotla from tomorrow, Tuesday 13th until Wednesday 14th February, at Cooke’s Lake, Mahikeng.
At the centre of the EXCO Lekgotla’s agenda will be the extent to which the 5th Administration has been able to implement the National Development Plan (NDP) through the five concretes, since 2014 to date.
The EXCO Lekgotla will among others, reflect on the work done by Provincial Departments, Districts and Local Municipalities, Electrification programme, Water and Sanitation programme, infrastructure development and maintenance programme, implementation of EPWP, expenditure report with emphasis on Village, Township and Small Dorpies, and compliance to 21 and 30 days payments to service providers.
In discussing these issues, the EXCO Lekgotla will highlight achievements and challenges since 2014 to date, and consider remedial plans for the remainder of the Medium Term Strategic Framework (MTSF).
The EXCO Lekgotla will be attended by Premier of the North West Province, MECs, Mayors, Heads of Departments, Municipal Mayors, Chief Financial Officers and Chief Executive Officers of State Owned Entities.
Members of the media wishing to engage the provincial leadership on the outcomes of the Provincial EXCO Lekgotla, will be granted interviews on the second and last day of the Lekgotla as follows:
