Bokone Bophirima Provincial EXCO holds its Lekgotla
The Bokone Bophirima Executive Council (EXCO) is to hold its two-day Lekgotla to reflect progress on amongst others, implementation of Setsokotsane in various Districts, the state of Local Government in the context of Back to Basics Programme, as well as activation of Agriculture, Culture and Tourism as key drivers of the Provincial economy. EXCO Lekgotla starts tomorrow, Wednesday 19 August 2015 at Orkney, The Key, and will end on Thursday, 20 August.
The two day EXCO Lekgotla which will be led by Premier Supra Obakeng Ramoeletsi Mahumapelo, will be attended by Members of Executive Council (MECs), Mayors, Heads of Departments, Municipal Managers and the Traditional Leadership.
Premier Mahumapelo says central to this Lekgotla is to determine the extent to which the Provincial Government is responding to issues of service delivery, and to ensure that opportunities for improved livelihood are unlocked.
The EXCO Lekgotla will be held as follows:
